Ringgit weakens against USD amid US rate hike fears
The Malaysian ringgit opened lower against the US dollar on Thursday, trading at 4.0820/0865 compared to the previous close of 4. The decline follows the release of higher-than-expected US inflation data, which has strengthened expectations of a potential interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve.
