STF Ends Suspension of Workplace Sanctions
The Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF) has ended the suspension of penalties related to Norma Regulamentadora nº 1 (NR-1), effective Wednesday, 23 September. The suspension, which lasted 90 days, had halted fines and administrative sanctions concerning psychosocial risk management in workplaces. The Ministry of Labor will now resume enforcement of these rules, which aim to address mental health in the work environment, according to Extra.
